I have recently got a job for a well respected oil and gas company. I have been creating the visuals for an exhibition in our area. The inspiration for this design is marking territory, saying to others that "this is our place!" I imagined a scenario of our team arriving at the exhibition space and messing it up In our own style and brand, hence the paint splats. Look close and you can find images within the mess.

More examples of the Project Delivery icon. These are inspired by the letters P ad D.

Above is an example of a logo I am creating for a client. The brief was it had to feature 7 arrows to represent the seven steps in the Project Delivery cycle. The colours are a gradient mash-up of the key colours of the clients brand.

I am looking into ways of informing the viewer better, getting across the important information. I have started to use gradient not in a deliberate decorative sense but instead to imply growth, importance even direction. So which end of this gradient do you feel is more important?
